Half of established UK duo MONKEYE, DJ/Producer Matt Jones has earned his stripes ten times over. Originally from London, now based in Abu Dhabi, he cut his teeth on the London club circuit before taking his invigorating House music blueprint global. In a career spanning more than a decade, Matt has relentlessly refined himself as an artist on many levels starting by frequenting the DJ booths of London’s most renowned clubs, including Egg, Ministry of Sound and more, before going international - with appearances in Australia, Ibiza and South America. For the last half-decade, Matt has called UAE home.

 

He has established himself as one of the region’s leading House music artists, performing at beach clubs and popular venues, including Iris, Filini garden, Glo Rosewood and Al Maya island - also performing at major events like the F1 Grand Prix. Renowned for his uplifting and energetic House music blueprint, Matt’s performances echo the spirit of his productions that have seen him sign to a slew of revered electronic imprints. Releases on Toolroom, HoTL Records, Criminal Hype, and his co-owned SHAPESHIFT Records have seen Matt (and MONKEYE) supported by a wealth of the industry’s biggest names, including Mark knight, David Guetta and Kryder, among others. As Matt continues to make strides as an internationally established artist, he looks to build on his impressive production resumé whilst staying at the forefront of clubland with emphatic performances that capture the hearts and ears of crowds around the world.
