Signed to Toolroom, Armada and Universal, with a Beatport No.1 to his name and over 1 milion streams on Spotify, it’s fair to say DXB/Leeds DJ and producer Scott Forshaw is one of the rising stars of dance music.
After forging his bas-infused house sound in his native Leeds, he made the move to Dubai in 2014, quickly becoming one of the region’s most in-demand DJs, opening and closing for the likes of David Gueta, Roger Sanchez, Chase & Status, Pete Tong and Robin Schulz.
Playing his trademark mix of cool but commercial sounds, he was quickly snapped up as Zero Gravity’s main resident, playing to thousands week in, week outat the city's leading club.
A prolific studio engineer, he’s behind one chart topping album and 3 singles on iTunes as well as that Beatport top spot, and has received backing from A-list DJs including Mark Knight, Martin Garix, Dannic, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike. And with more releases signed to Armada, Simma and Sirup, and an official remix to come for Pitbul in 2017, that support is only going to get bigger and more vocal.
As well as his prestigious Zero Gravity’s slot, he's held down long-term residencies at Mhahiki, Barasti,Zinc and Armani/ Prive and is one of Red Bull's go-to DJs having played their Red Bull X Fighters and Red Bull Air Race events Abu Dhabi and their Ibiza-style open water parties across Dubai.
A versatile DJ, he’s supported 30 Seconds to Mars, Elie Goulding, Lost Frequencies and Jason Derulo in the past year.
With gigs lined up across the Middle East and Europe, several tracks signed to some oft he biggest labels in the business and a host of viral remixes and bootlegs, Scot Forshaw is making the right sort of noise. Expect big things from one of dance music's rising stars in 2017 and beyond.
